There are lots of things that you do on MS Project that you still can't do using these online tools.&lt;BR/&gt;&lt;BR/&gt;I have an article published on PM Hut about the &lt;A HREF="http://www.pmhut.com/what-would-an-ideal-project-management-tool-look-like" REL="nofollow"&gt;ideal project management tool&lt;/A&gt;, it's written by the CEO of a PM Tool company. My office just installed it and it is awful.  Just plain bad.  Voice only goes one way at a time---walkie-talkie style--- so if somebody is talking while you are talking, you can't hear a word they say.  I believe vice-versa is true as well.  And it has a nagging beep when a call is coming in on another line.  Of course, when it beeps, the people on the other line are not able to hear you talking.  Aaargh. And why bother getting the PMP, which is, based on my first hand observations, fast losing credibility in the marketplace? I mean, would you really want someone to be entrusted with your multi-million dollar project who took a 200 question, multiple choice exam, which only required you to score ~61% on it?  Gimme a break!!!&lt;BR/&gt;&lt;BR/&gt;IMPO, there are many other organizations who are far less commercialized who offer far more credible certifications, than the PMP.&lt;BR/&gt;&lt;BR/&gt;As you are based in Europe, the International Project Management Association (IPMA) is one of them, and another organization which offers a FAR more technically demanding certifications program is the Association for the Advancement of Cost Engineering International, http://www.aacei.org/certification/certExplained.shtml.
